A person will gain a strong heart and a good circulatory system if on regular exercise hence the conclusion that exercise has both a long term and short benefit to pulse rate and blood pressure.

Exercise increases the body need for oxygen and blood hence the faster heart pumping .The pulse rate being a direct amount of heartbeats in a minute tend to increase as one exercises. In physical activities the heart becomes more efficient and actually it is enabled to pump larger amount of blood with little effort meaning that it will not beat as rapidly as when a person is idle. The benefit derived thus is as the pump slows its pressure on the arteries is lowered as well as stress. In the long run, a consistent person in exercise should witness a decrease in the resting pulse as well as blood pressure.

In conclusion, health is determined much by our lifestyle right from nutrition to exercise. The kind of food we eat simply translates our overall health.
